Kids say the darnest things.

Son: Papa can I have honey stars with fresh milk please?

Me: After you help che che (sister) sweep the floor, ok?

Son: Ok!!

Son: Che Che, I stand here and tell you where to sweep?

Sister: Wahhh, You think I am a maid?

POSB Run for Kids

Wake up early on Sunday morning, dress the kids in the run T shirt, drive the family there, fight to find a place to park, rush to the start line and my son doesn’t want to run.   I don’t think my arms can take it, in the end, ran with him on my shoulders..

Bloglines is shutting down.

Just found when I checked into my Bloglines account over the weekend (yeah that was some weekend).  They are shutting down!!!

As you may have heard, we are sorry to share that Bloglines will officially shut down on October 1, 2010.
More detail can be found on the blog –

I find it strange that they decided to do this .  I thought cloud services are now all the rage, a web based RSS reader is the way to go.  The updated feeds and what I have are always available and device independent.

The only reader that I know is Google Reader.  I am going to be assimilated.  Resistance is futile.

Shuffling feet

I joined 70,000 people shuffling their feet in the annual SAFRA Army Half Marathon (AHM) and Marina Bay Run.    It was a very scenic route running through parts of the F1 track and Marina Bay Sands.  Walked and jogged to the finish before the sun could barbeque me.

Whats with all that shuffling feet anyway?  Why can’t they lift up their feet and save some energy.  Saw at least 3 people being stretchered and countless down with cramps.

I came across this parkour video in a forum. Most impressive. Note the scenery repeats, as I think they are doing a circuit.

What you don’t see is this.  Countless number of scrapes and falls.
