Are your parents covered by medical insurance? Most Singaporeans are buying personal insurance for work, travel and medical needs. Now for the older generation of Singaporeans, not all of them do.
When they are ill and require frequent medical specialist care, the cost can really balloon. In patient charges, the constant taxi trips back and forth etc.
Therefore while your parents are still insurable, get some coverage.
